Technology and Leadership Course Instructor: Luke Rapa and Joshua Rosenberg Summer 2013 Course Description: This course was my absolute favorite MAET class. The focus of this course was developing ourselves as technology leaders. We discussed the aim of education, the history and evolution of technology, and the principles of leadership. I never really thought of myself as a leader even though I am the only media specialist in my district, but by the end of the semester I really felt like I had learned a lot about myself and my potential as a technology leader. Below are a few artifacts from my time in CEP 815. |

Teaching Students Online Course Instructor: Dr. Anne Heintz and Sandra Sawaya Summer 2013 Course Description: This course was all about teaching students in an online environment. We were introduced to CMS and LMS which are online platforms that allow teachers to create self-contained online courses. We looked at several course/learning management systems such as Edmodo, Coursesites, Moodle, and Haiku. I ended up creating an online course about Internet Safety for a 3rd Grade Class using Haiku. ** Click here to view the Internet Safety Course I created using Haiku.** CEP 807
Capstone Educational Portfolio Course Course Instructors: Dr. Matthew Koehler, Andrea Zellner, Joshua Rosenberg, and Spencer Greenhalgh Fall 2013 Course Description: This is the final course in my MAET Masters Program at Michigan State:) The entire course is about creating this very portfolio and reflecting on all the learning that has occurred over that last 4 years. I cannot believe I am almost done. Hopefully you are enjoying reading through my professional portfolio because it was all created right here during the Fall of 2013. **Click here to view the Course Syllabus for CEP 807.** |
