"We have got to make our libraries the center of a new life in the mind, because people are hungry to use their minds...It is the people who work in libraries who are going to lead the way, who are going to give other people the curiosity and the vision of useful things, and pleasant things, and amusing things. It is a very great responsibility because there is a great need....especially in rural America. There is a great need for imagination in the ways used to stir the interest of old and young...so we must insist on libraries for communities, and we must insist on paying for them, for what we get, in the end, is stimulation of intellectual thought, individual curiosity and the chance to make a democracy that will be a real democracy."

Here are some examples of my students working.
As a school librarian/media specialist I do not have any students of my own, so I thought I would post some pictures of the students who work on dual enrollment or independent study classes in my High School Library. Even though I am not the actual instructor for any of their courses the students who come here to study feel like they are my students. So here is a collection of my students working instead of a gallery of student work. Enjoy!
